PTSelect Switch

THE ESSENTIAL
ADDITION.

Never again will your heated towel rack be too hot or too cold. We have designed a built-in switch with temperature adjustment for all year-round use, so you can decrease the temperature in summer and increase it during the cold winter days. By doing this and switching on and off you can conserve energy and reduce running cost by up to 60%.

What does it do?

Switch ON and OFF to save on electricity and run the heated towel rack only when needed.

Adjust the Temperature of the heated towel rack from the minimum of 40% power setting all the way up to 100%.

Indicates Current Power Setting with a quick flashing light indicating the current power/temperature setting is at the lowest setting and a solid light at the maximum setting.

Allows for Reduction in Electrical Usage when power or temperature setting is reduced and when the heated towel rack is switch off because it is not being used.

Switching On and Off.

To switch ON, from the off position rotate the dial to the right until an audible click is heard. To switch OFF, rotate the dial to the left until an audible click is heard and the dial won’t rotate any more.

Adjusting the Temperature.

To increase the temperature rotate the dial to the Right. To decrease the temperature rotate the dial to the Left. The speed at which the light flashes indicates the temperature level. A quick flashing light indicates a lower temperature, while a slow flash indicates a higher temperature.

THE NECESSITY OF A BATHROOM BUTLER HEATED TOWEL RACK.

The primary function of a heated towel rail is to dry your damp towels, ensuring they stay fresh and hygienic between washes. Bacteria thrive on damp towels causing a musty odour, but using an electric towel rack will reduce these bacteria by 90%, therefore your towels can be washed less often, saving on water too. A heated towel rail will allow you to enjoy the feeling of a fresh, dry bath towel every day.

DRY ELEMENT TECHNOLOGY.

Having the best heating technology inside the heated towel rack is one of the most important factors in providing consistently dry towels all year round. With our unique Dry Element Technology (DET) we are able to provide heated towel rails that heat up rapidly, dry towels faster with an added touch of warmth, are temperature adjustable, energy efficient and easier to install.

One of the biggest benefits of this technology is RAPID Heating which ensures that our electric heated towel racks heat up faster than the older fluid filled options, reaching a working temperature of about 140°F (depending upon the ambient temperature) in just 10 to 15 minutes. Allowing our DET heated towel racks to get to the job of drying your towels faster while using less electricity in the process.Our heated towel rails are cost effective to run as they have an average wattage of between 60W and 100W, similar to that of 1 or 2 incandescent light bulbs. We take pride in offering our customers a quality product, therefore, our towel rails are not welded together, resulting in a refined finished product which is also fully serviceable should the need arise.

BENEFITS OF DRY ELEMENT TECHNOLOGYHaving a built-in controller with temperature adjustment is an important feature in getting the most out of your heated towel rack; you can increase the temperature in winter and reduce it in summer for all year round use. In addition you can switch on/off manually or program to do so automatically, which means the heated towel rail will only run when you need it to and therefore save electricity.

Maximise the benefit of your heated towel rack, by folding your towels in 4 layers. This will ensure that they dry faster, obtain the most amount of warmth and hold the maximum amount of towels possible.

INSTALLING A BATHROOM BUTLER
HEATED TOWEL RACK IS EASY.

Bathroom Butler heated towel rails are supplied with all of the necessary mounting parts, installation template and instruction manual, all you'll need is a few tools. Remember to consult an electrician and follow local electrical rules and regulations.

WIRING OPTIONS:

There are various ways of installing your heated towel rack depending on whether you are currently building a new bathroom, renovating or retrofitting to your existing bathroom. The standard hardwired option (hidden wiring) provides the most aesthetically pleasing look and requires an electrical conduit to be installed within the wall. Another option is to have your heated towel rail installed as a plug-in (exposed wiring) that can be done at any time.

Electrical conduit is installed in wall during renovation or building process. Electrical wiring is then pulled through the conduit and connected to the mains on an earth leakage protected circuit.

As an optional extra we have a plug-in kit available. Once installed the unit can then be plugged into an earth leakage protected outlet.

DUAL ENTRY: Our heated towel racks have been designed with Dual Entry, which means that each heated towel rail has electrical connections in both bottom left and bottom right, allowing you to choose which side to connect the electrical power during installation.
