All stainless steel components of Bathroom Butler\u2019s HTRs, excluding the colour finishes, the heating element, PTSelect Switch and TDC Timer, are <\/span><b>guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as printed on the sales docket, which must be provided as proof of purchase upon return of the goods. This updated Guarantee only applies to HTRs purchased after 1st January 2020, all HTRs purchased prior to 1st January 2020 but after 1st August 2013 carry a 10 year Limited Guarantee. All HTRs purchased prior to 1st August 2013 carry a 5 year Limited Guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>Heating Element: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The heating element is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>Controllers: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The controllers which include the PTSelect Switch and TDC Timer are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>Colour Finishes:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The surface finish of all colour components (including PVD and other coating methods) are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excluded from this warranty are damages resulting from force majeure (Acts of God), including, but not limited to, lightning and floods, fair wear and tear, misuse, wilful damage, negligence, repair of device without the approval of Bathroom Butler or damage resulting from incorrect installation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The manufacturer\u2019s liability is limited to repair or replacement of HTRs only. No claim for consequential damage and\/or labour and\/or transport will be entertained. Damages arising from misuse of the HTRs will render the warranty invalid.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This warranty is only valid when the product has been purchased from an authorised reseller or country\/territory distributor, and is only valid within the geographical borders of the country\/territory that it was originally purchased. Firstly, switch OFF your heated towel rail and allow it to cool down. Secondly, wipe it down with a warm damp cloth then buff it dry with a clean dry cloth.If you choose to use a specialized cleaning product such as a stainless steel cleaner, make sure it is Chlorine-free; or in the case of a stainless steel polish make sure it is both Chlorine and abrasive free. When cleaning the wall or tiles around your HTR make sure the cleaning products are Chlorine-free as this could cause permanent damage to the surface of your stainless steel HTR. Do not use any acid based cleaning products or tile grout cleaner any where near your HTR as these products will cause permanent damage to the surface of your stainless steel HTR.<br \/><b>Cleaning Colour Finishes:<\/b> Use only a warm damp microfibre cloth then wipe dry with a microfibre cloth. Do not use any household or industrial detergents and do not sue any abrasive cleaning materials. As colour finishes are created by coating the product, it is possible to damage the surface by chipping or scratching it which is not covered by the warranty &#8211; do not bump or scratch with other
